Ladies, this is an evening not to be missed! Come along on Wednesday 12 May from 6.30pm - 8.30pm to Dukes 92 in Castlefield for the second annual Handbags at Dusk charity event. (NB this event costs £5 payable on the door)

Bag a bargain at Manchester's first 'Bring a Bag Sale' and help raise money for The Birdhouse Fund, Thirsty Thursday's favourite charity that's all about giving women across the region a step up in life. (see www.birdhousefund.org)

Entry for this fabulous night of girlie fun is £5 per person (payable on arival) and includes a complimentary drink on arrival and the opportunity to buy some fabulous bags. If you donate at least 3 bags on the night or in advance we will waive the entrance fee.

We need to raise lots of money for this good cause so bringing your unwanted bags is just as important as buying other people's, so we ask you to have a good clearout, donate any unwanted bags you have. They don't need to be designer bags.  We will take everything from Primark to Mulberry and anything in between.  Just make sure you empty them first!  Bags can be dropped off in advance of the sale at Rags to Bitches on Tib Street in the Northern Quarter, or at the Community Foundation offices in Speakers House, Deansgate (opposite the top of Blackfriars.), or bring them along to our social on Thursday 29th April. Or you can of course bring them with you on the night.
