As you all already know the city of Manchester is home to some remarkable ladies, but were the Mancunian women of the past any different?  We are very pleased to be hosting our very first TT walking tour with our very own tour guide expert Philippa Cave.
The tour will consist of a gentle walk round the city to hear about a range of feisty females, from those who fought so we can vote, to those who misbehaved.  With stories of love and fear, the noble and the naughty, the passionate and the peculiar, see how a millionaire widow, the city's first socialite, a Manchester mummy, a domestic goddess and more, made their mark on the city and beyond.
Starting outside Central Library in St Peter's Square at 6pm, the tour will last about 90 minutes so make sure you dress for the weather and a walk around town.......no stilettos girls !!!
For those who want to stay on we will be arranging an end of walk glass of vino in one of our favorite local venues.
